Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. Burrell hosts the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature hairstyle and her pumped up personality, provides the basics of cooking that anybody can learn. Chef Burrell is also a part of some of the top eateries within New York, studied the culinary landscape and traditions of Italy, and battled in Food Network's Iron Chef America. While in Italy she grew to truly appreciate and understand the philosophies behind Italian food and culture that has had a profound impact in her viewpoint. Burrell serves on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that helps brighten the lives of struggling children. She also is an Juvenile diabetes Research Foundation Celebrity Advocate, where she promotes awareness of juvenile diabetics. In her capacity as an inspirational speaker, she travels across the nation to talk about her love of food and her culinary career. Anne has stated during her career in the kitchen that she feels so fortunate to communicate with people what is truly important for her.
