Kim Cattrall
Kim Victoria
Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is an actress from the United Kingdom.
She is a British actress as well as a Canadian actor. She is best known for her
part in the role of Samantha Jones on HBO's Sex and the City (1998-2004) and
for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe
Award nominations, receiving the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City
2 (2011). Cattrall's first film appearance was in Rosebud (1975) in which she
would go on to play several roles on television. In the 1980s, she rose to
prominence with films such as Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984)
and Hold-Up (1985). She was also in City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little
China(86), Mannequin (1987), Masquerade (1888), Midnight Crossing (1988) and
The Return of the Musketeers (1989). She worked on several occasions with
director Bob Clark, appearing in four of his films: Tribute (1980), Porky's
(1981), Turk 182 (1985) as well as Baby Geniuses (1999). Her credits in films
comprise The Bonfire of the Vanities (90) and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered
Country(91) and Split Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995), and 15 Minutes (2001),
Crossroads(2002), Ice Princess (2006), My Boy Jack (2007). Meet Monica Velour
