Noureen DeWulf

American actress Noureen deWulf (nee Ahmed), is Her most famous roles are in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and West Bank Story (2006). Between 2012 and 2014, she appeared on the sitcom Anger Management as Lacey. DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed in New York City to Gujarati Indian parents who were from Pune, Maharashtra, India and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was raised Nizari Ismaili Muslim. She has two older sisters. Aziza is her older sister is a professor in Boston of law at Northeastern University. Sara, her younger sister is a lawyer in San Francisco. DeWulf studied theatre and international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. She moved to Los Angeles after graduating to pursue a career in theatre. She speaks fluently in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. DeWulf started her acting career with the Oscar Award-winning short film West Bank Story, where she played the lead role of Fatima who is a singer and dancing Palestinian cashier who finds love with an Israeli soldier. Since then, she's been in comedy TV series as well as films. She played recurring roles on the NBC series Outsourced and TNT's Hawthorne from 2009-11. DeWulf also appeared in Maneater which was the Lifetime mini-series. She starred with Matthew McConaughey in the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Jeremy Piven in The Goods : Live Hard and Sell Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2010 and was her principal role. She co-starred alongside Charlie Sheen in the television sitcom Anger Management, which ran from 2012 to the year 2014 on FX.In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her portrayal as a murderous tempor in the film of her own, Coffee, Kill Boss.In 2014, DeWulf was ranked #93 in Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" for the second time (the previous time was 2007) as one of the top women in the world, according to readers of the magazine.  In 2009, she was included in the 'Top 30 under 30' for Nylon magazine.
