Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Vincie was born the 10th of December, 1987. She is an American journalist. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their daily news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing started when she was issued an pit lane pass and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. Vincie gained attention when her self-made videos of her blogs about NASCAR were published on stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 the 10th of December, 1987. Her family moved to Warrenton shortly after Vincie began high school. Vincie is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie and has one older sister. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her maternal grandfather who was a member of Bridgewater College's faculty. She was interested in journalism since a young age. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School in 2006. Vincie was a track and field athlete as well as was the manager of the school’s wrestling team for four years. She was victorious in the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie met Al Pearce, who mentored her. He also provided a lot information. She received a bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie was an intern at the department's athletics department at the university. Vincie also held a similar job at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie penned a senior thesis about the gender gap in auto racing that was specifically focused on Danica Patrick, a female race car driver. She began to become interested in racing after she received an access pass to pit lane for the NASCAR All-Star Race. She names Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
