Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. She made
her feature film debut in the 1995 film, an independent drama Kids. Dawson has
since appeared in films such as He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats
(1901), Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and
Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson has voiced characters for Warner
Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The actress has also
been nominated for the Critics Choice Film Award for Best Actress In a Comedy
for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland: Double Tap
(2019). Dawson was born May 9 1979 in New York City. Her mother, Isabel
Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Isabel was just 16 at the
time that Rosario was born. Isabel did not marry Rosario's father, Patrick C.
Harris. Rosario's mom, Greg Dawson, was an engineer at the age of one year old.
Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson
is also well-known for her characters in comic book adaptations.These include
Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple
in five of the shows from Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018) and voiceovers for Diana
Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New
Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie. In 2020, she
portrayed Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is expected
to be a part of the upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a
recurring part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock
in 2021.
