Kari Matchett Biography

 Kari Matchett (Canadian actress) is famous for her roles in movies such as Apartment Hunting' and Men with Brooms'. Her birthplace was in Spalding (Saskatchewan) and later relocated to Alberta, Canada where she completed her high school. She began to pursue acting as a pastime during her teenage years. She was enrolled at Montreal's National Theatre School to continue her training in acting. In Moscow, she also attended the Moscow Theatre School. Her first appearance on television came in 1996, playing a supporting role in the Canadian series titled "The Rez.' She also appeared in shows like "Ready or Not" and "Forever Knight". In the late 1990s when she made her film debut in the form of the film "Papertrail" and then acted in films such as "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." In addition, she was a supporting character in television series' like "A Nero Wolfe Mystery' and 'Blue Murder.' She was still seen in films until the 2000s. However, her film appearances were less than her TV ones. In 1998, she appeared playing the lead role as 'Colleen Blessed' in the Canadian drama series titled "Power Play.' The show ran for two seasons and 26 episodes and was highly praised by critics as well as advertisers. She was nominated in the 'Gemini Award for her role in the show. Jude Lyon Matchett was born to her in June of 2013. However, she did not disclose the father's name. According to some reports,, her ex boyfriend is the father. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke and Kari Matchett started dating in the late 1990s. The couple was married in 1998. The couple divorced in 2006 following their marriage broke in the middle of the year.
