Denise Lee Richards Bio

Denise Lee Richards, born on 17 February 1971, is a former fashion actress and model from the US. She stands 5'5 1/4 inches (1,66m) tall. In the late 1990s she was the main character in various films that highlighted her sex appeal such as Starship Troopers and Wild Things. She is a part of the reality TV show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated which airs on American channel E!. Richards was the daughter of Joni Richards, a coffee shop owner and Irv Richards (a phone engineer). Michelle Richards is her sole sister, and she was born in Mokena, Illinois. In 1989 she graduated from El Camino High School, Oceanside, California. She was the "only girl" on the baseball team as a child. Before becoming an actor, Richards was signed by the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency as model. She spent the bulk of the 1990s in films with lower budgets and television shows like Saved by the Bell, television movies, and guest starring in episodes of various TV shows, including Married with Children (1991) which was a five-second walk through. Her first major role in a wide theatrical release was Starship Troopers in 1997, that was followed by her role in the moderately popular cult film Wild Things in 1998.
